Malaysia Calcium Carbonate
Omya Malaysia Coated CaCO3 — Active Grade
Omya Malaysia Coated Calcium Carbonate (Surface-Modified Ground Calcium Carbonate) is engineered by chemically bonding high-purity white limestone from Bercham, Malaysia with a highly uniform layer of premium Stearic Acid.
This organic surface treatment transforms the hydrophilic calcium carbonate into a hydrophobic functional filler. The coating drastically lowers oil absorption, maximizes polymer compatibility, prevents agglomeration, and guarantees excellent dispersion inside plastic matrixes while significantly reducing abrasive wear on processing machinery.
Key Features
- Sourced from high-purity Bercham, Malaysia limestone
- Uniform Stearic Acid surface coating (1.0% – 1.2%)
- Lower oil absorption for efficient compounding
- Minimizes agglomeration & machinery wear
- High brightness (94–96%) & whiteness (96–98%)
- Recommended for PVC pipelines & automotive components
