CaCO3 Filler Masterbatch — Coated & Uncoated Grades
Filler Masterbatch Bag Filler Masterbatch Powder Filler Masterbatch Applications

Advanced technical specifications covering core loading levels, surface modification configurations, and tailored particle distribution dynamics.

Stearic acid serves as an essential amphiphilic surface modifier. The carboxylic acid polar head chemically bonds with the calcium carbonate surface sites, while its long non-polar aliphatic carbon tail extends outward into the polymer melt — converting the hydrophilic mineral core into a completely hydrophobic structure.

The percentage dosage of stearic acid is governed by the specific surface area of the mineral. Ultra-fine particles require complete organic monolayer protection to prevent agglomeration, melt pressure spikes, and pinpoint tearing defects.

Key Features

  • High CaCO₃ loading levels (up to 85%) for cost-efficient compounding
  • Coated and uncoated grades to suit any application
  • Particle sizing tuned from ultra-fine film grade to coarse technical grade
  • Improves stiffness without compromising film/sheet quality
  • Excellent dispersion & reduced melt pressure spikes
  • Stringent quality control on every production batch
